Believers Fellowship

Capital Campaign

"Is There Not a Cause?"

Welcome to the Adventure!

As you already know, our Fellowship has been caught up in a whirlwind.  God has told Pastor RJ that the time to put down our stakes was upon us, and did He ever mean it.

As the leadership of Believers Fellowship unanimously got behind RJ and began to move forward, God had provided in advance a beautiful 17.2 acre site for our campus. This site will be sitting directly in the middle of what will shortly be the hub of Leander.

Now we embark on the initial phases of renovating the existing house into our Administration Center and erecting the first of our buildings, a 50 X 100 foot Multi-Purpose Center.

God is unfolding His plan to reach Leander and we all have a huge part in it. His heart is broken for the lost in this area and He has extended the invitation, "Who will go for Me?" As a spiritual family we have corporately answered, "Her we are Lord, send us...use us!"

The Believers Fellowship Capital Campaign is the integral part of the strategy unfolding to effectively reach the community of Leander. This campaign is the first of its' kind for our Fellowship and we are excited to see God provide through the course of it.

All we ask is that you prayerfully consider everything you read and hear. The level which you participate is between you and God. There will be no pressure or expectations put on you. The key thing, is we really want everyone to be apart, no matter how big or small, so as a spiritual family we all will share in the joy of the work with out any regrets.

God Bless You and Thank You for Joining the Cause!

 Letter from the Pastor
Dear Friends,

I am glad for the opportunity to talk to you and to invite you to participate in the Capital Campaign of Believers Fellowship. There is this mistaken notion that the church is a building where you attend religious services; however, the church is actually made up of people who have become followers of Jesus Christ. So, why would we need to raise funds to develop a "church" campus? The facilities that are developed are important in two very specific ways: 1) A developed campus with a dedicated auditorium, kitchen, world-class nursery, youth center, KIDZ Rock World, playgrounds, walking paths, picnic areas, a courtyard and gym provides a place that serves the needs and activities of our congregation. 2) It also assists us in our work of reaching the community that surrounds us.

According to Jesus' teaching on the Great Banquet, there is the aspect of the harvest where we go out and touch the lives of people, and then there is the "place" where we bring the harvest in. I am convinced by the words of Jesus that the "harvest is plentiful" and at Believers Fellowship we want to aggressively go out and bring that harvest in. Obviously, all the funds that Believers Fellowship receives do not go into construction costs and the campus development; however the more generous we are in our participation in the Capital Campaign, the more our general funds can be used to support both our staff and the ministries that they lead.

When someone talks about money and giving I get nervous. I once went to a timeshare vacation presentation. I was pressured--manipulated--pushed--maneuvered, and harassed for several hours...needless to say, it wasn't a wonderful experience. The Capital Campaign is not about twisting your arm to do something that you cannot afford to do, it is an invitation to help Believers Fellowship fulfill its mission. Please prayerfully consider being a partner with us in this effort.
Blessings,

RJ Dugone

*Note: At this time, any new members/regular attendees will be invited to participate and join in as campaigners if they have not already done so.
